This site was acquired in 2016 and originally formed part of High Oak Hill Farm which up to 2015 was resident to Harbex, a metal cutting and polishing business. The site had the benefit of outline planning permission for five detached houses of varying sizes from 1900 – 3300 square feet which was accessed via a long driveway from Iwade Road, and surrounded by open country side.
It was apparent to Ashbyrne Homes that some of the houses were too large for the site. After local market research, redesign went underway to produce six 2000 square foot houses using an interchange pallet of materials incorporating timber and tile cladding. With the introduction of electric gates to the front of the development, Ashbyrne homes achieved its goal in creating balance within this country setting by reduce traffic flow and increase security in this quiet county side close.
